Apple's iPod Nano in lawsuit.
Apple's iPod Nano was released last month as a replacement to the popular iPod Mini has found themselves under lawsuit.
"Rather than admit the design flaw when consumers began to express widespread complaints ... Apple concealed the defect and advised class members that they would need to purchase additional equipment to prevent the screen from scratching excessively," the complaint said.

People should check out other players before going for an Apple. I have an Archos and it blows any kind of Apple, including the video iPod clan out the water. 80GB of memory and a personal video recorder, photo viewer, voice recorder, MP3 player. Check out the other options first, not just the name.

Exactly Grant,
There are other MP3 players that blow iPODs away in a second. I find CREATIVE has a great MP3 player...cost about the same as an iPOD...only it looks better, sounds better, and just the whole setup is ace quality unlike iPOD. Another one would be RIO...cheaper in cost and sounds better.
Hell, I'm happy with my mini-cd mp3 player..sure it's cd, but hell it has awesome sound and I can hold up to 5000 songs...though how pathetic would that be to sit there and add 5000 songs...LMAO!!!...if that was the case...just say I don't have a life....HAHAHAHA!
The highest I've ever put was like 5 cds.

iRiver gets a good name too Marcus, most now coming with a colour screen as standard. It does seem that nowadays your phone is a camera and an MP3 player. Wonder what else they can fit on there?

i'm kinda fond of my ipod, it does the job for me. all i use it for is when i fly for business, on long trips in the car or doing work around the house. other then that it just sits here staring at me. i don't see any problem with the set up, control or sound of the ipod. the itunes software is free and easy to use. if you are looking for something just to play music with it's not a terrible choice. i did buy it used so i got a great deal on it. i put in an after market hard drive for more storage and put in a longer life battery while i was at it. i also picked up an itrip which makes it much more enjoyable.
i've heard good things about creative though i do have a friend who had one die on them in a little over a year. another friend at work has a nano and they do look really good, great size and all. i've heard talk of a recall due to cracking screens though. who knows.

I did own an ipod until my ten year old son took complete control over it, something about me being too old for that kind of stuff, charming
